Thank You!!!!

Swim Relay 2026 has now been and gone and what an event it was!!!  46 teams with around 230 swimmers swimming a magnificent 1967 lengths, (that’s nearly 31 miles!!!)
As always there were some amazing personal success stories throughout the day and everyone had a thoroughly enjoyable time. And over £12K was raised for local charities and good causes with the majority of it shared between Demelza and the Air Ambulance. A great example of the Maidstone community coming together for a wonderful event.
Along with our wonderful army swimmers we were supported again by Cllr Martin Round, Mayor of Maidstone, who rang our opening bell. The cost of running it all was covered by our team of business sponsors who, combined, made sure that all of the money raised by swim teams was able to be donated to the relevant charities. So a huge thank you to all of you!!
To Maidstone Leisure Centre and their team for allowing us to use the facility, to members of other local Rotary clubs who helped on the day, to all of the volunteers throughout the day, to everyone who donated or sponsored, and to all those swimmers who met some big personal challenges and swum your hearts out, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

We hope to see you all back next year !!!!   Watch this space for news.
