What we do
What is Rotary?
- One of the largest Voluntary service organisations in the world
- A global network of local clubs, filled with local people, all dedicated to helping both their nearby communities and also those in need of help wherever thay may be. Rotary members are people of action who want to give something back and make a difference.
- With around 1.2 million members in 10's of thousands of clubs around the world, wherever you travel to there is likely to be a local rotary club.
- As well as helping with major disasters and crises by providing aid, Rotary International also has it's own campaigns such as End Polio Now which aims to eradicate polio from the world. Rotary International also supports aid charities such as Shelterbox to provide non-political humanitarian aid.
Most towns have at least one Rotary club and members are welcome to attend whichever club they wish. In the borough of Maidstone there are 4 clubs:

Dawn Patrol Rotary Club Meetings on Thursday mornings Cobtree Manor Golf Club, Maidstone
Weald of Kent Rotary Club Meetings on the first and third Tuesday evenings of the month The Who'd a Thought It, Grafty Green
